Constable arrested for raping minor on pretext of help

A police constable of Govindarajanagar police station has been arrested on the charge of taking the father to his house and raping him on the pretext of giving a drop.

Pawan Dyavannavar is a Bandit Constable. The minor had fallen in the trap of love with a youth from Chamarajanagar. Thus, the victim who had left home was walking on the side of the park on July 27

Pawan, who was on duty at that time, questioned the minor and said that she wanted to go to Chamarajanagar. A complaint has been filed that the constable raped her after taking her to her house believing that she would be given a drop.
